It's Wednesday! Thank goodness this week is half over. I'm already thinking about the weekend...
Take a look at what I picked up from TJ's the other day. Trader Joe's is probably one of my favorite stores on the planet. I don't know what it is about that place, but the people are SO friendly, the food is perfectly organized and I find that shopping at that store instantly boosts my mood! Everything I buy I end up loving.....which leads me into my next point. I FINALLY picked up a jar of almond butter and let me say I was not disappointed.
I'm probably behind the game on this one, but I never tried it before and I heard such great things. I love peanut butter so I knew I would like this just as much. It tastes pretty similar to PB, but has a more nuttier taste I guess. I will eat it on anything and everything I can...
Onto breakfast today. Breakfast is a really important meal for me. I actually love breakfast foods and don't understand how some people can completely skip it! Today's meal would not be complete without a helping of....you guessed it..almond butter.
Egg whites, handful of strawberries and whole wheat toast with almond butter and ground flax seed on top. I could eat this everyday! I eat breakfast pretty early on weekdays, 6:30 to be exact. I like having something really substantial and filling so it keeps me full until it's time for my mid-morning snack around 10:30.
